More than a decade ago, my first smartphone changed my life and I began making photographs again after a 40-year hiatus. I am a photographer. I have always seen the light, the faces, and the images.

My working career spanned the ushering of digital technologies into the world of craft, experience, and apprenticeship in the printing and publishing industry, always in the service of reproducing images and text on the printed page. It only seems right that digital technology should help take me back to my roots in image making.

My recent portraits document humans in pursuit of their own personal truth. My work investigates the expression of intimate individual truths of the personal human condition, striving, and fantasy.
